Colors of Longing
I express my spiritual longing for creative ideas through my art by fusing colors, lines, and movements together to inspire a meaning worth exploring. My work explores values of love, happiness, melancholy, life experiences, sadness and cultural heritages that are part of our uniqueness.
My work uses acrylics canvas with vibrant nontraditional colors.
I like to construct an emotional art full of paradoxes: the collusion of melancholy and happiness, love and solitude, the decorative and the meaningful, ecstasy and sorrow, hope and despair...

Sand painted symbols.
Every human life is filled with history of symbols. Through Bosnian history, especially the medieval period, which has remained quite controversial and for which there are hundreds of interpretations, symbols can serve as a universal language to communicate with our past with the help of modern art. In a way of painting them, we can grasp their power and the possibility of multiple creative expression that we should be open to reach.. Specially if we continue to explore in the specified field of art history, in Bosnia, trying to decode its philosophical directions, throughout history, using art as a genuine instrument of knowledge. The best way to learn the secrets of the symbols is to follow the recommendations of Antic Greeks , "Know and meet yourself " - which is equivalent to learn the secret behind one of the greatest symbols: human beings, symbols of the immortal soul and symbol of the universe. Symbolism of color is necessary to consider as serious as its design and shape. The least we can do is respect the timeless association of colors – for example, red is the color of fire and blood, joy, passion and energy, so it is almost impossible that it could become a color of calmness and confidence. A commitment to any color is related to the culture we belong to, and also to the period in which we live. The most important symbolism of cultural and artistic expressions of medieval Bosnia is recognized in the tombstones- named stećci, this tombstones are still alive, interesting and intriguing expression in the life of art and culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After all its features, the tombstones do not belong to the European Renaissance art, as both stylistically and conceptually they are alien to the spirit of the Renaissance – and are fully Bosnian medieval monuments... Unique and original in the world.

Native American symbols have been used for generations to communicate thoughts, expressions and beliefs. From prehistoric rock drawings, called petroglyphs and pictographs, to the use of symbols incorporated into jewelry and craft designs. Because there were very few Native Americans written languages (one of the few, the Cherokee written language was invented by Sequoya), images used as symbols were extremely important.
